Weather Alert Day Tuesday

10 PM TUESDAY: The severe threat has ended but there continues to be a chance of localized flooding in the overnight hours Tuesday as storms bring pockets of heavy rain.

UPDATED: 8:20 PM

A line of storms continues to push east across mid-Missouri and still poses a threat for severe weather until 11 PM. The main threat continues to be damaging wind gusts but a very low tornado threat still exists. Here is the newest threat tracker for this evening. With time, the severe threat decreases but storms will still have pockets of heavy rain which could lead to localized flooding.

Here are the projections on where the line of storms will be at 10 PM and midnight. Storm coverage will expand east of HWY 63 as we head toward midnight.

Much cooler weather follows by the end of that week as we usher in another round of fall-like temperatures.

Be sure to stay weather aware into the evening hours as the threat for severe weather continues. Stay up to date by checking back in with this blog and by downloading our ABC 17 Stormtrack Weather Apps on iTunes and Google Play.
