Warmth and humidity take over through Wednesday, Big time rains for the Midwest this weekend

TONIGHT: We’ll continue to hang onto some of the cloud cover throughout the overnight hours and that will keep our temperatures from falling back into the 50s. We’ll have a steady south breeze as well and we’ll likely see temperatures close to 62 degrees as we wake up tomorrow morning.

MONDAY: We’ll see a little bit more sun peeking out tomorrow and in turn that will help boost our temperatures a couple degrees. We’ll likely see more sun than clouds by the mid afternoon, our high temperatures topping out in the low to mid 80s– it will feel a bit more humid tomorrow.

EXTENDED: Temperatures will remain above averages through the first half of the work week, with Wednesday being the warmest day of the bunch– I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw a few places touch 90 Wednesday afternoon, with plenty of humidity to go around… it’s all about a brief return to summer, followed by a series of cold fronts into the weekend that will bring us rain chance and cooler temperatures, as the country will find itself split in half by seasons with Fall dominating out west and stifling heat and humidity holding strong along the east coast.
