Two people injured in Monterey Drive shooting
Police were called to the 3600 block of Monterey Drive around 2:45 a.m. Friday for multiple calls about gunfire in the area.
While officers were on the way to the scene, they received reports that one adult and one juvenile were admitted to the hospital with non-life threatening gunshot wounds.
Police found multiple shell casings at the scene.
Investigators said witnesses were scarce due to the earliness of the hour.
Police did not immediately provide any suspect information, but officers said they will be speaking with the victims at the hospital to try to get more information.
CPD told ABC 17 News this incident is not related to another Friday morning shooting on Kennesaw Ridge Rd.
