Warm weekend in Mid-Missouri

TODAY: Another warm weekend in store for Mid-Missouri. Temperatures will climb into the upper 80s. We’ll start out with mostly clear skies but will pick up some clouds in the afternoon. With humid conditions in place, heat indices will be in the low 90s.

TONIGHT: Any clouds we see develop in the afternoon will clear out into the overnight hours. Temperatures will cool off into the middle 60s to start out the day on Sunday. With clear skies and calm winds, wouldn’t be surprised to see some fog developing in those low-lying areas around Mid-Missouri.

EXTENDED: Sunday looks mainly dry and continues the warm trend with highs in the upper 80s once again. An isolated storm is possible, mainly east of HWY 63 in the afternoon. We hold on to this warm weather early next week with dry weather through Tuesday. More rain chances make their way back into the forecast next Wednesday but for now, it looks limited to spot showers through the middle of next week. Temperatures into next week will stay in the mid to upper 80s, as the summertime ridge remains anchored across the region. A stronger cold front will cool us down to near 80 by next Friday.
