MU police investigate report of sexual misconduct in Ellis Library

The University of Missouri Police Department received a report of sexual misconduct in Ellis Library on Friday afternoon.

Authorities said the victim reported that a man approached the victim around 3:30 p.m. on the second floor of Ellis Library, pulled down his pants and inappropriately touched himself.

MU police said the suspect is described as a black man in his 20s with a mustache and stubble. He was seen wearing a black T-shirt and cargo shorts.

MU police are asking anyone with information regarding this incident to contact the department at 573-882-7201 or CrimeStoppers at 573-875-8477 to remain anonymous.
