Rain & Storms ending this evening, Fog settles in overnight
THIS AFTERNOON: A band of rain showers is tracking across Mid-Missouri this after bringing another round of precipitation to the area. There is a chance, after this rain pulls through, that we could see and area of clearing develop over Mid-Missouri which could help fire off one more round of storms. At this juncture, folks east of HWY 63 have the best chance of seeing any of those storms becoming strong. We slowly clear into the evening.
TONIGHT: Clouds will stick around through the night as temperatures drop into the upper 60s. By daybreak we are going to see fog settle across the area, likely impacting the morning commute.
EXTENDED: Temperatures will rebound into Wednesday as we see increasing sunshine through the day. There is a small chance for a few spot showers east of HWY 63, but most locations should stay on the dry side. The rest of the week features highs near 90 degrees as upper level riding slides back into the area. By the end of the week into the weekend, rain chances are back in the forecast, as a developing low over the Great Lakes should keep isolated showers in the forecast.
