Second suspect’s identity confirmed following Callaway County manhunt
Two men are behind bars and two minors are in custody following a manhunt Wednesday in Callaway County.
Callaway County Sheriff’s Office confirms the two men from Colorado Springs are Jesse Tamburo, 21, and Matthew Solomon, 25 both being held with no bond.
According to authorities, a five-hour manhunt started around noon Wednesday when a stolen vehicle crashed, and two suspects fled on foot.
The Highway Patrol used their aircraft in the search. K-9 units were also on scene from the Callaway and Audrain County sheriff’s departments.
One of the suspects was arrested near Route Z and the other and the minors were found on County Road 117.

One local family spoke to the group of suspects before calling deputies after seeing the TV report on the news.
“Our guys are doing their jobs and because of the news media and all of that, it got done fast,” Rocky Maddox said.
Both men face a variety of charges including drug possession, resisting arrest and tampering with a motor vehicle.
Deputies said the images below show Jesse Tamburo, of Colorado, visiting a business in Callaway County earlier Wednesday.
