Six people hurt in Morgan County crash

UPDATE: According the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, an 86-year-old man was transported by staff for life to University Hospital.

Three other people suffered moderate injuries and two juveniles sustained minor injuries.

According to the report, the crash happened when a vehicle tried to make a left turn and turned into the path of a second vehicle.

ORIGINAL: Six people are recovering from injuries after two vehicles crashed in Morgan County Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Morgan County 911 & Emergency management, the crash happened on Highway 5 at State Route J.

Highway 5 was closed for about an hour while emergency crews cleared the scene.

Investigators have not released the names of the victims or their conditions.

Several agencies responded to this crash, including the Gravois Fire Department, Morgan County Sheriff’s Office and the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
