Motorcyclist hurt after crash in Mexico
A man is recovering from injuries after he was involved in a crash in Mexico, Missouri, Wednesday morning.
According to the Mexico Department of Public Safety, Joshua L. Hutchison, 36, of Mexico, was traveling north in 1100 block of Elmwood Drive on a 2014 Harley Davidson motorcycle when he was hit by an SUV around 7:55 a.m.
Police said a 2016 Chevrolet driven by Stacy Brockmeir, 29, of Centralia, made a left turn in front of Hutchison and he was unable to avoid the SUV.
Emergency crews with the Audrain Ambulance District took Hutchison to University Hosptial in Columbia.
His condition hasn’t been released.
Elmwood drive was closed for about an hour while crews cleared the crash.
