Spilt Cheerios creating traffic issues in north Columbia

UPDATE 3:32 P.M.: ABC 17 News crews at the scene reported there were no Cheerios or crash blocking the road.

ORIGINAL STORY: Emergency crews are working to clear the scene of a commercial truck crash in north Columbia Tuesday afternoon.

BOONE CO JOINT COM: a commercial load of Cheerios spilled across Paris Rd near Mexico Gravel Rd creating a traffic hazard. Use caution, avoid area if Possible.

According to Boone County Joint Communications, a load of Cheerios spilled across Paris Road near Mexico Gravel Road around 2:30 p.m.

Emergency crews said the crash was creating traffic issues and asked drivers to exercise caution while in the area.

An ABC 17 News crews is on its way to the scene of this crash.
