Several in custody after search warrants in Belle
The Maries County sheriff confirmed three people were taken into custody early Monday as three agencies carried out two simultaneous search warrants in Belle.
The raids happened at two different locations. The operations involved members of the LANEG drug task force, Maries County sheriff’s department and Belle Marshal’s office.
Along with the possible suspects, an underage child was also put into protective custody.
Officials expect to issue updates, which could include details about any arrests or charges.
