Seasonal now, cooler & unsettled weekend
TONIGHT: Under mostly clear skies, temperatures will dip back into the mid to upper 60s by daybreak. Winds out of the north will gradually become calm tonight.
TUESDAY: The seasonal weather continues as we’ll see high temperatures reach the upper 80s. A cold front moving through will bring clouds through the area early in the day and will increase the northerly winds up to 12 mph. Humidity will remain low, making for a nice summer day.
EXTENDED: This weather pattern stays locked into through much of the week. With plenty of sunshine, temperatures in the upper 80s and lower humidity, we will have pleasant conditions all the way through Thursday. A cold front will approach by Thursday, which will push through the area by Thursday evening. Rain chances are low with this frontal passage Thursday, but behind it an unsettled weather pattern returns a storm system slowly moves across southern Missouri.This will increase rain chances Saturday through next Monday. Temperatures will cool into the lower 80s for the upcoming weekend with nights in the lower 60s and periods of showers and t-storms.
