Deputies to work overtime on search for missing Callaway County man
UPDATE, 6:10 p.m.: Volunteers continued to search the area near Jerry Kinman’s residence.
People in Callaway County, on horses and on all-terrain vehicles and utility task vehicles, searched day and night.
Volunteers who brought their own horses, drones and dogs told ABC 17 News they are hoping for a good outcome.

Officials with the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office said that additional members of the community have asked deputies how they can assist in the search.
The deputies instruct those people to periodically check their personal property.
ORIGINAL: According to the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office, deputies are now accruing overtime for their search efforts regarding the disappearance of 74-year-old Jerry Kinman .
Sheriff Clay Chism stated other routine calls in the Callaway County area are being handled as well.
Chism said they are continuously re-evaluating their findings and assigning available resources accordingly to locate Kinman’s whereabouts.
To date, officials said they have been unsuccessful in reaching Kinman’s cellphone and believe the phone is inoperable, dead or turned off.
In order for investigators to successfully track the phone, according to Sheriff Clay Chism , the cellphone will need to be powered on.
The Sheriff’s Office said they will continue to make every effort to ping the cellphone in question.
