Another great day Sunday, More heat returns this week

TONIGHT: Continued clear skies and easterly winds will allow us to cool off tonight into the low 60s for lows. Another great night to have the windows open across all of Mid-Missouri.

SUNDAY: Another gorgeous day settles into Mid-Missouri, another one best spent outside. We’re continuing to track full sunshine across the region as well– keep that sunscreen handy. We’re also going to watch winds become east southeasterly tomorrow. Those winds will help us warm up a slight touch, but thankfully we keep the humidity low. Highs across the area tomorrow rise to the mid-upper 80s.

EXTENDED: Relief can only last so long– we’re tracking yet another return to above average temperatures and more elevated humidity to start your work week. Both Monday and Tuesday look to have temperatures in the low to mid 90s. However, some good news, we’re tracking the potential for another cool front to push through the area on Wednesday, similar to what we saw this weekend. Depending on how far-reaching that front becomes, we could maybe squeeze out a nice day by the middle of this week. The latest data is indicating that Wednesday’s bout of relief will be short-lived as more heat builds in Thursday and Friday. We’re not tracking any rain chances this week for the time being.
