UPDATE: Deputies identify suspect in Pettis County homicide

UPDATE (1/13): The Pettis County Sheriff’s Office has identified the suspect in Tuesday night’s deadly shooting.

The sheriff’s office said deputies arrested Noah Kelliker, 18, of Marshall, in Oregon County in southeastern Missouri Friday evening. Kelliker was being held in the county jail for violating his probation in an assault case.

He was then transported to the Pettis County Jail where he is being held on a $250,000 bond.

Kelliker is facing charges of second-degree murder, unlawful use of a weapon and armed criminal action.

ORIGINAL: Pettis County deputies announced on Friday evening that officers have arrested a suspect in Wednesday’s deadly shooting.

ABC 17 previously reported the Pettis County Sheriff’s Office and the Pettis County coroner were investigating the death of a Sedalia woman.

Pettis County Sheriff, Kevin Bond, said that he anticipated a warrant would be issued on Friday night and additional arrests would be made.

Bond also said that the female victim, Cassandra L. White, died from multiple gunshot wounds. Bullet fragments were recovered at an autopsy as well as shell casings at the scene.
