A Salisbury woman has died after a crash on a highway in Boone County this week.

University Hospital in Columbia confirmed to ABC 17 News on Friday that Lindsey N. Levett, 33, of Salisbury, died following the crash on northbound Highway 63 at Old Highway 63.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Levett was traveling northbound on Highway 63 around 2:45 p.m. Wednesday when she went off the left side of the road and hit an embankment before going airborne.

Levett’s 2003 Suzuki Aerio then went across a nearby creek and hit another embankment before it came to a rest.

A second vehicle traveling northbound on Highway 63 was also hit with debris from Levett’s vehicle.

Emergency crews took Levett to University Hospital in serious condition.
