Madison Street wall collapse: Salute to America will continue
Jefferson City’s Salute to America celebration on July 4 will continue as normal, despite a crumbling wall a few feet from the stage.
A collapsed wall on Madison and East High Street three weeks ago.
It is being held up by supporting beams.
The owner is still deciding what to do with the wall, and he has not been given a deadline to decide.
Organizers for the Salute to America celebration say they will only be losing a few parking spots.
