Two taken into custody after reported robbery, assault

Two people could face multiple felony charges after a reported robbery and assault.

Police say Ashton Wilson was giving the victim a ride to the area of route B and Brown Station Road.

The victim told police Wilson got out of the car, and that’s when Kelly Olney approached the car with a gun, hit the victim on the head and pulled her out of the vehicle.

The victim reported the suspect stole money and her cellphone before fleeing the scene.

Officers say Wilson conspired with Olney to rob the victim of her money.

Wilson was arrested in the 1100 block of Madison Street and faces charges of felony robbery in the first degree and felony second-degree assault.

Olney was arrested in the 11000 block of N. Hecht Road on charges of felony armed criminal action, felony robbery in the first degree and felony second-degree assault.
