Truck catches fire after crashing in Columbia

Columbia police and firefighters responded to a crash on Barberry Avenue in northwest Columbia Tuesday night.

It happened after 10:30 p.m. at the corner of Barberry Avenue and Grayson Drive. It appeared to involve one truck, which police said caught fire.

ABC 17 News saw one person in handcuffs at the scene. We are working to confirm how the crash happened and if anyone was hurt.

As of 11:30 p.m., Barberry Avenue was still blocked.
