Columbia police investigate after car hits woman on Broadway

The Columbia Police Department is investigating after a car hit a woman Monday night.

Officers were called to the scene in the 200 block of Broadway before 10 p.m.

Police said a vehicle struck a 45-year-old woman. She was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

According to an officer at the scene, the driver is currently not in custody, but the investigation is ongoing.
