Lake of the Ozarks boat fire sends one man to hospital
One person was injured Monday after a boat fire at the Lake of the Ozarks.
It happened around 6:50 p.m. near the 24 mile marker of the main channel, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.
Dan Hall, 47, was starting the boat after refueling, which caused some fumes to ignite, the report said.
The fire caused extensive damage to the boat.
Emergency crews took Hall to the hospital with moderate injuries.
