Gov. Parson kicks off statewide tour Tuesday

Missouri’s new governor is kicking off his statewide listening tour Tuesday morning.

Gov. Mike Parson delivered his first address to the General Assembly Monday night, which drew bipartisan praise.

Parson is making nine stops across the state Tuesday and Wednesday, starting at 8 a.m. in Springfield.

The governor said he will be talking to community leaders about the best way to address issues like infrastructure, workforce and economic development.

He will make a stop in Columbia at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.
