Broadway closed from Eighth St. to Providence Road Sunday

The 80th annual soap box derby creates road closures in downtown Columbia.

Broadway is closed from Eighth Street to Providence Road.

ABC 17 was at the scene when crews put up road closed signs before 6 a.m. Sunday.

The road closure is expected to last until 6 p.m. Sunday.

Plan to find an alternate routes and leave a bit earlier to avoid any delays.
