Chances of storms continue for the weekend

FRIDAY: With a dry start to the day we will see partly cloudy skies and high temperatures near 90 in the afternoon. There is a spot storm chance in the afternoon, but most areas will stay dry all the way through Friday.

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy skies remain tonight with a small chance of overnight storms, however most areas will stay dry tonight. With clouds in place low temperatures only drop towards 70, also thanks to a south wind from 5-10 mph.

EXTENDED: Through the weekend, this warm and humid weather pattern continues with a spot storm chance. The better chance for storms looks Saturday morning as the nose of the low level jet stream will be near us. While no organized severe storms will occur, the heat could make for a few isolated strong or severe storms with damaging wind and large hail the main threats. The overall pattern shows a chance of rain and t-storms each day, with afternoon highs near 90 and overnight lows near 70. Watch ABC 17 News for the latest forecast and check back here for updates.
