Another summer-like weekend
TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy skies remain tonight with a low chance of late-night storms. Temperatures will stay warm, only dropping to near 70 with light southwest winds and partly cloudy skies.
SATURDAY: A few morning storms are possible mainly east of HWY 63 but most of the day looks dry with high temperatures in the low 90s. The humidity will make it feel more like the mid to upper 90s under partly cloudy skies. Storms are possible again overnight and into early Sunday with the best chance east of HWY 63. A few strong to isolated severe storms are possible with strong wind gusts.
EXTENDED: The slight storm chance continues into Sunday with possible morning rain and only an isolated afternoon storm chance. The best chance of rain is in eastern Missouri with chances dropping toward the west. The heat and humidity continue as afternoon high temperatures reach the low 90s and heat indices in the mid to upper 90s. The work week will start off hot but a cold front will bring a chance of storms Monday night and cool temperatures a few degrees, although we’ll still see above average temperatures. Highs will reach in the upper 80s to near 90s with nights near 70 most of next week. Watch ABC 17 News for the latest forecast and check back here for updates.
