ORIGINAL: After a building wall collapsed on Madison Street as preparations were being made for Thursday Night Live, the event director decided to cancel the event and close down part of Madison Street.

The building itself is 200 E. High St., located at the corner of Madison and High Street.

The closure is at the block between High and McCarty Street.

The closure is causing some congestion in the area and drivers are encouraged to find alternate routes.
