Man allegedly admits to having sex with a minor at least 5 times

A Camden County man is charged with rape, possession of child porn, and sexual exploitation after he allegedly admitted to having a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old.

Steven Rodrick Goldsberry, 27, is in the Camden County Jail with a bond of $1 million.

According to court documents, Goldsberry admitted to having sex with the minor at least 5 times.

A detective also found a nude photograph in his wallet and several videos depicting sexually explicit material on his phone.

Goldsberry apparently confessed to the sex while on the phone with his father, and agreed with him when he said “I told you to stay away from her… when they’re 15-years-old, it’s statutory rape.”

He also was recorded on the jail phone system talking to his grandmother and telling her that there were “naughty” videos of him and the minor on his phone.

After authorities got a search warrant, they seized the bed linens they saw in the videos, as well as thirty rounds of 9mm ammunition that was consistent with a gun shown in one of the videos. The room also matched the background in the videos.
