Motorcycle crash leaves one with injuries

A motorcyclist is in the hospital after a crash Tuesday morning on U.S. 54 East. According to the crash report, the motorcyclist was changing lanes on the Missouri River Bridge when they ran into the rear of another vehicle in the westbound lanes.

The motorcyclist was wearing a full face helmet at the time of the accident, which prevented further injury.

There was major damage to the motorcycle and moderate damage to the car.
