Teenage pedestrian injured after Moberly hit-and-run

Officers responded to the intersection of Epperson and Lee Streets on Monday after reports of a vehicle accident involving a pedestrian.

Officers learned a vehicle that had left the scene of the crash hit a 17-year-old boy from Moberly. The teenage boy was taken to MRMC for leg injuries.

The driver of the vehicle was identified as a 16-year-old girl from Moberly.

She was found and detained for leaving the scene of an accident.
