Jefferson City police confirm bones are not human

Jefferson City police confirmed Monday evening bones found at a construction site were not human. They were called to investigate near 1209 Missouri Blvd, where the new KFC is being built.

Crews were digging and found bones. The department got the call just before 4:45 p.m.

A pathologist was called to the scene to confirm if the bones were human.
