Man charged for hotel assault
One man was charged on Tuesday after deputies claim he assaulted a woman inside a Callaway County hotel.
Employees made a report on Monday, Memorial Day, after hearing someone scream for help in the second-floor hallway at the Quality Inn.
The victim says Eric Huddleston bit her ear. The sheriff’s department reports surveillance video shows him grabbing her by the hair and dragging her back to the room in nothing but her underwear.
An 8 year-old girl claims she tried to run out of the room to get help before Huddleston caught her in the stairwell and carried her back, throwing her to the ground, which hurt her foot.
Huddleston was arrested when investigators found a similar car parked outside an address in Auxvasse.
