Vehicle catches on fire at parking garage near Governor Office Building
The Jefferson City Fire Department posted on its Facebook page that they extinguished a fire near the Governor Office Building Friday night.
Firefighters said they responded to 201 Madison Street just before 8:30 p.m. for reports of a vehicle on fire on the top floor of the parking garage.
Firefighters said they deployed a ladder truck to knock down the fire, and then crews finished with hand lines.
Firefighters said the cause is unknown.
