Suspect arrested in Central Bank of Boone County robbery investigation, police say

Columbia police said they arrested a man Monday in relation to the robbery of Central Bank of Boone County.

Police were called to the Central Bank of Boone County Friday morning for reports of a robbery, officers said.

Police said that through the investigation, detectives identified Basil Kyles, 63, of Rocheport, as a suspect.

Kyles was detained by Boone County deputies Monday in the 400 block of Roby Farm Road in Rocheport, police said. Kyles was later arrested by officers on felony charges of stealing, with a bond to be set by the court.
