Missouri House votes to legalize medical marijuana

The Missouri House voted 112-44 to legalize smokeless medical marijuana Tuesday.

The bill, sponsored by Representative Jim Neely, would allow anyone over 18 to use smokeless medical marijuana to treat terminal and other serious diseases.

If it becomes law, it would allow a patient suffering from conditions like cancer, HIV, Parkinson’s multiple sclerosis and PTSD to use it if a doctor approves.

The bill heads to the Senate.
