Beautiful Weekend in Mid-Missouri
TODAY: We’re starting off a bit on the cool side this morning, but plentiful sunshine will fix that this afternoon. Highs this afternoon will top out in the low to middle 60s with a wind out of the north around 10 mph. A beautiful day to spend outside.
TONIGHT: We’ll cool off a little more than we usually do this time of year thanks in large part to our dry atmosphere and lack of cloud cover overnight. Lows tonight will drop to near 40 with the winds shifting to a more southeasterly direction by morning.
EXTENDED: That wind shift we experience overnight will help us warm up a bit more on Sunday. We could be hitting 70 in some locations Sunday afternoon. Clouds moving in Sunday evening will keeps us slightly warmer heading into the work week with lows only dipping to 50. Continued southerly winds will move warmer temperatures into Mid-Missouri next week. We will reach near 80 on Monday and Tuesday. We could see some isolated storms moving in Tuesday but the better chance holds off until Tuesday night. A more active weather pattern continues through next Thursday with periods of showers and t-storms and the possibility of severe storms. Stay tuned to ABC 17 for the latest forecast and updates.
