Two arrested on suspicion of drug trafficking in Centralia

Two people have been arrested by Centralia police for first degree drug trafficking, as well as a list of other potential charges.

Madison Putnam and Kenneth Petska, both 30-year-old Columbia residents, were arrested around 8 p.m. Thursday. In addition to drug trafficking, Putnam was arrested on two active Boone County warrants, one for probation violation and another for possession of methamphetamine paraphernalia. Petska was also arrested for possession of methamphetamine paraphernalia, as well as one count of driving with a revoked license.

As of midnight on Friday, neither Putnam or Petska have been formally charged.
