Woman killed in Camden County crash

The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a deadly crash in Camden County Monday.

It happened around 5:45 p.m. in the westbound lanes of Highway 54 in Macks Creek.

The driver, Cathy Byler, 48, lost control of the car, drove off the left side of the road and the car overturned, according to a highway patrol crash report.

The Camden County Medical Examiner pronounced Byler dead on scene. She was not wearing a seat belt.

A one-year-old in the vehicle, Augustus Byler, was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
