Multi-million dollar expansion for Our Lady of Lourdes Interparish School expected to begin soon
A spokesperson for Our Lady of Lourdes Interparish School announced on Tuesday that school officials will be hosting a groundbreaking ceremony to kick off an expansion.
The $6.6 million expansion will add 12 classrooms, a writing lab, a markerspace, multiple small teaching spaces, a new media center and a school office.
The spokesperson said the expansion will eliminate the need for mobile classrooms and increase the security of the campus.
The ceremony will be held on April 20 at 10 a.m. The ceremony will include a blessing by Bishop W. Shawn McKnight.
The addition is scheduled to open at the start of the 2019-2020 school year.
