Callaway County deputies make three methamphetamine-related arrests on Saturday

Callaway County deputies arrested three after officers found methamphetamine in two vehicles on Saturday.

Deputies said on Saturday evening, they came in contact with a vehicle that was occupied by Reece Strawn and Ashee Heaston.

Officers said they called in the Callaway County K-9 unit and found methamphetamine and marijuana in the car.

Strawn faces possible charges of possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and possession under 10 grams of marijuana. His bond was set at $5,500.

Heaston faces possible charges of possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

On Saturday night, officers stopped a car on State Road F for a traffic violation. Deputies found that Cecil Brandt, the driver, had an active felony warrant. He was also found to be in possession of methamphetamine and marijuana.

When Brandt was taken to the Callaway County Jail, officers found he had hidden methamphetamine and marijuana on him.

Brandt faces possible charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession under 10 grams of marijuana, possession/delivery of a controlled substance in a correctional facility, driving while having a revoked/suspended license and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
