Emergency crews rescue two from flooded Maries County bridge

Maries County emergency officials responded to MCR 527 on Thursday for reports of a water rescue.

Firefighters said the two occupants of the vehicle were rescued.

Officials said most of the bridges in Maries County were flooded on Thursday and the currents were very strong.

Residents are asked to turn around if they see a flooded road because drivers will never be able to determine how deep the water is or how much damage was done to the roadway.
