Cooper County deputies arrest man accused of threatening another man with shotgun

Cooper County deputies arrested Zachary Lampson on Thursday after officers were dispatched to the 16600 block of Guyers Ford Drive on Thursday.

The victim told police that an argument broke out between a few people and Lampson. Hours later, the victim was parked in the roadway and was confronted by Lampson and another suspect.

Lampson was accused of threatening to kill the victim with a shotgun that he was holding.

Lampson admitted to officers that he was in possession of a shotgun but denied pointing the gun or threatening anyone.

Lampson was charged with unlawful use of a weapon and peace disturbance.
