Unsettled weather to end March

The weather through the end of the month will be typical for late-March with up and down temperatures and periodic rain chances. The 30 year average low and high temperatures climb from 36/ 58 on the 22nd to 39/ 61 on the 31st. We’ll continue to come in slightly below or above these numbers due to shifting winds as areas of low pressure occasionally move through.

A low pressure system will pass through Mid-Missouri Saturday morning, bringing showers and isolated storms and slightly cooler air by Saturday afternoon. Another storm system developing behind it will bring periods of rain from Sunday night through next Wednesday. Heavier rain is possible with a cold front which moves through next Tuesday. Forecast rainfall amounts come in at 1-3″ in Mid-Missouri in the next 6 days. This unsettled pattern looks like it will persist into the start of April.
