Cool, cloudy start to the weekend

TONIGHT: Clouds will linger and we’ll dry out overnight as temperatures fall into the low 40s by morning. Winds will shift to the west up to 15 mph.

SATURDAY: With clouds holding tight on Saturday and northwesterly winds up to 12 mph, high temperatures will stay cool, only reaching near 50 degrees.

EXTENDED: It will be a cold start to the day Sunday with morning low temperatures in the mid 30s. We’ll see some sunshine and light southeasterly winds which will boost temperatures to near 60 Sunday afternoon. However, another storm system will arrive late Sunday into Monday with increasing showers and t-storms Sunday night through Monday followed by cooler weather to start the week. Tuesday, the vernal equinox and first day of spring, still looks to be the coolest day next week as highs top out in the mid 40s accompanied with a chance of a few light snow showers early on in the day, making it feel a lot more like winter as we usher in spring. We’ll start warming up with as we head toward the end of next week. Be sure to check back at ABC 17 to get the latest updates on the forecast.
