Centralia police arrest man accused of slamming woman’s head into door multiple times

Centralia police arrested John Hinten on Thursday after he was accused of domestic assault.

Police said Hinten slammed a woman’s head into the door multiple times and had methamphetamine in his possession.

Hinten was charged with possession of a controlled substance and domestic assault.

Hinten is currently in the Boone County Jail with a $15,000 bond.
