‘Controlled burn’ gets out of control in Boone County
Boone County fire crews responded to the 4100 block of North O Neal Road just after 5:30 a.m. Thursday.

The property owner told officials it started as a controlled burn on the property that got out of control.
The shed is considered a total loss, and electrical workers were called out to mitigate the damaged power line.

There were no injuries as a result of the fire and damage estimates are not yet available.
