Milder days ahead, weekend rain chance

TONIGHT: Clouds move back into the area tonight as winds pick back up out of the east up to 9 mph. The easterly breeze will keep cold temperatures with us through the night, as lows bottom out in the upper 20s. A light breeze under 10 mph, will produce wind chill in the 20-25 degree range for the morning commute.

FRIDAY: We will warm into the lower 50s Friday with easterly winds up to 10 mph and mostly cloudy skies.

EXTENDED: Saturday remains mild with highs in the mid to upper 50s with a chance of showers in the evening and overnight. As colder air moves in Sunday morning, rain could switch to snow but is not expected to accumulate due to warm ground and above freezing air temperatures. The rain and snow chances decrease Sunday morning with most areas dry by afternoon. It will be cooler Sunday with high temperatures in the mid 40s. We’ll see a slow warming trend next week with storm chances by the end of the week. Check back here and watch ABC 17 News for updates on the changing weather.
