Early morning crash in Boone County partly caused by rain, deputies say
Boone County deputies said rain played a factor in an early morning car crash Monday.
Deputies said they responded to the 4800 block of New Haven Road just before 2 a.m. for reports of a car crash.
Deputies told ABC 17 news crews that only one car was involved in the crash, and the driver was not injured.
Deputies said alcohol may have also contributed to the cause of the crash.
ABC 17 News crews said there was still a lot of debris in the road from the crash.
