UPDATE: Police investigate disturbance stemmed from past reported burglary on Whitegate Drive

UPDATE 12:45 pm: Columbia police said they were responding to a disturbance involving a reported burglary that happened on Sunday.

Officers were warned that on of the parties involved in the disturbance may have a gun but no weapon was found.

ORIGINAL STORY: Multiple Columbia police officers responded to Whitegate Drive on Monday morning.

ABC 17 heard reports of a possible shooting in the area, but nothing has been confirmed.

ABC 17 has crews on scene, talking with authorities.
