Breezy and colder Sunday, eyes set on storm for Tuesday
TONIGHT : There’s a potential that we could see some spot sprinkles or flurries overnight, and we will see temperatures drop into the mid-20s as winds shift from the south to the northwest behind a cold front passing through the area. Winds could be gusty at times which will keep wind chills in the teens overnight.
SUNDAY: It will be much colder Sunday as temperatures will likely drop through the 20s through morning into the afternoon. There’s a spot chance at flurries Sunday morning, but we should see skies gradually clear into the afternoon.
EXTENDED: Sunday night looks to be a very cold evening with temperatures in the lower teens. You will need the jacket Monday morning as you head out the door with wind chills in the single digits. We’ll see clouds increase into Monday afternoon as we have our next storm approaching for Tuesday. This system will have more moisture, so the chance of seeing measurable precipitation will be better. With the track of this system being so critical to precipitation type and amount, we will have to continue to monitor it this weekend. The remainder of the week looks to continue our cold weather pattern with below average temperatures. Watch ABC 17 news and check back on our website for updates to your forecast.
