UPDATE: Fulton police find wanted man that was considered armed and dangerous
UPDATE 6 pm: Fulton police found and arrested Richmond on Thursday evening.
Officers said they were advised that Richmond was at the C & R Market. When officers were dispatched to the area, he was found.
Richmond was arrested for a warrants for burglary, assault and armed criminal action.
His bond was set at $25,000.
Police said Richmond was identified through social media.
ORIGINAL STORY: Fulton police arrested Candace Witt on Thursday after officers responded to the 800 block of State Street looking for a wanted man.
ABC 17 previously reported that officers were looking for Franklin Richmond III after he was involved in a burglary and assault on Jan. 24. on Vine Street.
During the burglary, a homeowner told police a black man and white man forced their way into the home. The caller said the suspects attacked them with a baseball bat and knives-causing them to be taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers said they responded to State Street on Thursday to look for Richmond but police found Witt.
Throughout the investigation, police learned that Richmond was in the house.
Richmond was not found and is still sought by police.
Witt faces possible charges of hindering prosecution.
